In the afternoon, proceed for an excursion to the top of Mt Pilatus- situated at a height of 7,000 feet. Then set out for a short journey to Kriens under the guidance of an expert. Here aboard the panoramic gondola for a 30-minute ride to the Fräkmüntegg summit terminus. From here take in the breath taking views and embark on the aerial cableway at Fräkmüntegg for a quick 3.5-minute ride to the summit. This ‘Dragon Ride’ offers splendid views over the Alpine lakes and rugged peaks.
At your own liberty atop Mt Pilatus, you can stroll on a high-altitude hike, have lunch at your own expense or enjoy the panorama from the terrace. While going back, you will pass through sheer rock faces and attractive mountain streams that flows towards the fertile meadows below.
