It is It is known throughout for its cableway and panoramic views of the city. After taking in the unforgettabkle view of the Sugarloaf, take the two stage car up to the top of Sugar Loaf and drive to "Praia Vermelha" (Red beach) which grants the entrance to Rio's harbor and Guanabara Bay. It is considered as the most idyllic beach of Rio and also known as Red Beach for it becomes flushed with red at sunsets. Though the water of the beach is not that best but the natural scenario will surely leave you out of breath.
